What Is Slow Flow Yoga?
Slow Flow Yoga combines traditional Hatha yoga postures with regulated breath patterns to create “flow”. In this way, a Slow Flow Yoga practice incorporates the latest scientific research which proves that the integration of physical movement and conscious breathing is a way to maximise both physical and mental health.
Regular practice of Slow Flow Yoga will
• Increase strength, flexibility and balance
• Reduce the possibility of overstretching and injury
• Increase lung capacity to reduce stress and tension
• Maximise a feeling of relaxation and balanced well-being
Slow Flow Yoga is suitable for everyone of any age. Beginner yogi’s or those who already have a regular yoga practice will benefit.

My name is Derynthia Boyd, and I have been practising yoga for over 40 years. Apart from my practice keeping me physically well, it also keeps me happy ! I have never not wanted to go to ‘my mat’.
I am passionate about learning as much as I can about the science of yoga and am excited about the latest western research that confirms what the ancient eastern gurus’ have always known – that regular practice of yoga benefits mind, body and soul. I have formal qualifications in Yoga Teaching and Physiology and Anatomy.
